Your offseason duties and deadlines

All regular season roms are dropped at the beginning of the season. Regular season deadline is 14 days. The commissioner has the right to extend this deadline for certain situations. You MUST play at least 7 games in the first 7 days of the season. If you don't meet this then there is a penalty. It's the loss of a 3rd round pick the first time, 2nd round pick subsequent times. Of course there are exceptions (vacation, illness...et al) but if you are a habitual offender of this then it won't fly.

GTFO Playoff Seeding Rules and tie breaker rules: Here is the playoff seeding: 1) Top team in A 2) 2nd place team in A 3) 3rd place team in A 4) 1st place team in B 5) 2nd place team in B 6) C winner 7) C runner up 8) D winner. Tie breakers involving one division, two teams = H2H, Div record, Pt diff, coin flip if 3 or more teams = Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs), Div record, Pt diff, coin flip

After the end of regular season deadline, your team's aging ceremony will be handled as soon as possible. (See the page on aging for details of this ceremony).

After the aging rolls the playoff roms will be released quickly. Playoff games have a deadline of 36 hours from rom release and will be announced on Discord by the commish or designee as well. if a playoff game is not played within this time frame then it is the commissioners discretion on next action taken. (extension, skip, forfeit etc...)

These deadlines are the MAXIMUM amount of time. However, owners are encouraged to finish as quickly as they can before these deadlines and make the season shorter. The season will end before the deadlines once all games are played.

The draft will go LIVE shortly after the first playoff roms are released. All rookies and their ratings are easily viewed. Our rules are structured towards players that fall within our attribute CAP guidelines. From time to time a rookie may appear with OVER CAP attributes. In these rare cases, the commissioner can designate the player to a higher tier if needed. NO complaining about rookie attributes will be allowed. Punishment is a Dutch rub, a Wedgie and being forced to listen to FastEd's thoughts on anything he chooses. You do NOT want to break this rule!

Draft pick deadlines will be enforced via a timer on the site. The deadlines are as follows:
Round 1: 4 hours
Round 2: 2 hours
Round 3: 1 hour
Round 4: 30 minutes
Round 5: 15 minutes

These deadlines are important. It is highly suggested that you set and use the AUTO PICK function. This can be utilized and updated at any point - even before the first pick - and will keep you from getting skipped in the draft.

Trading can begin at any point after the draft goes LIVE (announced on discord and visible on offseason site). Trading is allowed at any point until the new season is flipped but please make sure that you have the appropriate amount of players and that your roster/lineup is set.

Once the draft has concluded ALL free agent requests will be pushed through ASAP. Once these FA have been pushed through then set your rosters immediately as the season will be flipped ASAP. In cases where an owner is not responsive to lineup changes or needed cuts made at this point then the commissioner or designee may use their best judgement and make the necessary changes so that we may proceed with the new season FLIP.

These deadlines and guidelines are in place to keep the offseason to a minimum. Please stay on top of your team and draft during the offseason to avoid any unwanted or missed roster moves.
